What is Central Ohio ACCA?
The Central Ohio Chapter of The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (COACCA) was founded in 1906 and is believed to be the oldest continuous local association in the HVACR industry in the United States.
Through the years, COACCA has taken a prominent part in the upgrading of the industry by providing continuing education for member firms' employees and by monitoring and sometimes initiating legislation at the state and local levels to benefit both the HVACR industry and the public.
The local organization was instrumental in forming the state association, Air Conditioning Contractors of Ohio (ACCO), and continues to be an important part of it's activities. The chapter also is affiliated with the Washington-based Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA).
COACCA & the Better Business Bureau of Central Ohio have a formal agreement to support each other's efforts in promoting high standards of business ethics and conduct in the air conditioning industry.
